Sports play a vital role in the overall development of students. Shaheed B. S. Bora Atal Utkrisht G.I.C. Someshwar, Almora, Uttarakhand, is well equipped with a spacious sports ground, badminton court, and various other sports facilities that encourage students to actively participate in physical activities. The school provides opportunities for students to engage in a wide range of indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, volleyball, badminton, athletics, kho-kho, kabaddi, and football. Numerous sports equipment have been procured under the PM SHRI Scheme to enhance sports infrastructure and provide better training facilities to students.
The school organizes an Annual Sports Meet every year, where students showcase their athletic talents and competitive spirit. Students regularly participate in inter-school, district-level, and state-level sports competitions, bringing laurels to the institution.
